Los Angeles, California- The Golden State Warriors are a really good team. Like really good. Like record-breaking good. And heck they have good players too, like Stephen Curry. To quote Lil Wayne, "that lil dude amazing." Meanwhile, the Warriors' neighbor to the south, the Los Angeles Lakers, are terrible. Like really terrible. We're talking last-place-in-the-Western-Conference terrible. And the Lakers are home to a past-his-expiration-date superstar, Kobe Bryant. To quote Kobe himself, "I freaking suck." So when the Lakers beat the Warriors Sunday afternoon at the Staples Center 112-95, people were pretty fucking surprised. The Lakers' win is actually so incredible that it's statistically the biggest upset in NBA history in terms of the win percentage margin between the two teams. This whole curse surrounding the Warriors, which states that the Warriors only lose to garbage teams, seems to be ringing quite true. How do you trounce the fifth seed Grizzlies and then get your ass handed to you by the Lakers in the same season? Same goes for how the Warriors managed to soundly defeat the Cavaliers but then get wrecked by Damian Lillard and the Trail Blazers. Like what the hell is going on here? This season is truly mind-boggling in regards to the Warriors, who are breaking records and then breaking down against totally ass teams. Whatever, man. I hate basketball. Everytime you think the result is a foregone conclusion, Steph and Klay decide to shoot a dismal 1-18 from beyond the arc. When the Warriors figure their shit out, they can come back and talk to me. Until then, I'm done with them.
